Creativity

Creativity is inborn, but everyone has a certain measure of it and it can be nurtured. There is no such thing as a person with no creativity, just that they do not realise it. And they may have creativity in other aspects, other than art, for example, music. HOWEVER, some people cannot bring out their creativity without the help of someone and a good opportunity , and need special people to bring out the creativity in them.

Courtesy

Well, I agree with Mrs Tay, courtesy is seriously lacking in society. The truth is, where courtesy is emphasised on the most, there is the least amount of courtesy. I am talking about the schools. Think about it. The teachers keep telling us to greet the cleaners, greet teachers and visitors, but nobody seems to do it! But why? It's because people are not bothered. Again: Why? It's just like dangling a large carrot in front of the donkey to get it to move. You don't put the carrot there, it doesn't move. It's the same thing in life. Humans are motivated to do things when they are rewarded for doing it. Real courtesy, to me, means that the action comes from the heart, not the brain! Why do we have to be taught to be courteous? Greeting the cleaner just shows respect and that you treat him or her as an equal! Weren't humans created as equals? I think that courtesy begins at home, and that we should all think clearly about how we treat others. Then we realise that courtesy should go without saying, it should be natural.
